🥉Grand Slam Comeback — From Four Straight Losses to the Podium 🥉 (2025 Super Collegiate Cup)

 

I wasn’t planning to write about this event at all. My trip to the European Championship got cut short, and this wasn’t exactly meant to be a big deal. But after 4 straight losses, we stormed back with slam after slam, grabbing 3rd place by just 0.12 VPs. That kind of drama… hard not to write about it 🤣.

The Super Collegiate Cup is a new event, only in its second year. Teams are formed by alumni from the same university, bringing back many old friends who had stepped away from bridge. This year also added a "mixed schools" division, shout-out to my amazing teammates who agreed to switch categories just for me 🙏. They even topped the prelims and made the finals, so I didn’t fly all the way back from Philly just to play the consolation 🤣.

Speaking of Philly, I was still playing at the Summer NABC just 3 days ago. Now I’m back home, squeezing in the Collegiate Cup finals as a warm-up before flying to Denmark for the World Championships next week 🤣. With such a tight schedule, any chance to practice with my partner (aka husband), Eric, is priceless 🥹.

🥉絕地反擊，滿貫逆襲 ──四連敗到頒獎台🥉（2025 超級大專盃）

本來完全沒打算要寫這比賽的，畢竟我的歐洲盃八強中獎之旅還胎死腹中，但四連敗後靠著滿貫逆襲，以 0.12 VP 之差站上頒獎台，這麼抓馬的劇情，讓人好有動筆的慾望 🤣

《超級大專盃》是個嶄新的賽事，今年才第二屆，以同校畢業生組隊為亮點，吸引了許多回味青年時期橋牌趣味、原本暫離橋圈的橋友回歸，今年更增設跨校組──感謝準備前進丹麥世界盃的隊友們為了我改打跨校組，更感謝他們在初賽勇奪冠軍，闖入決賽，沒讓我從費城千里迢迢回來打副盃 🤣

BTW，三天前我還在費城打夏季北美大賽，回來後抓緊唯一一個周末打個超級大專盃決賽，權充世界盃的行前練牌，不到一週又要飛去丹麥打世界盃了 🤣。緊湊的行程讓我們夫婦倆的練牌時間更顯彌足珍貴 🥹。

🧭 A Milestone in My Bridge Journey

After a packed spring with the NABC, China National Open, Hong Kong Yeh Cup, and Tokyo Invitational, I finally reached the biggest stage of the year — the APBF Championships.

This was more than just a tournament. It marked a milestone in my bridge career: 10 consecutive years on the national team, moving from women’s to mixed, and now debuting in the open category. It was also my first time competing alongside my life partner — a journey of growth, challenge, and breakthrough, facing Asia’s best together.

🧭 橋牌生涯的里程碑

在密集的三月北美春季大賽、四月中國全國公開賽與香港葉氏盃混合團體賽、以及五月的東京邀請賽後，終於迎來今年最重要的國際舞臺──亞太盃！

對我而言，這不只是一場比賽，更是橋牌生涯中的一個重要里程碑。連續十年入選國家代表，從女子組、混合組一路走來，終於踏上公開組的舞臺。今年更是首次與我的人生伴侶攜手出征，走過累積與磨練，邁向挑戰與突破，一同迎戰亞洲最高水準的賽事。

2025 年東京インビテーショナル

毎年５月、台湾の全国大会は母の日や APBF と重なるため、東京インビテーショナルとの日程がいつもバッティング。過去にはどう頑張っても参加できませんでした。でも、プロ選手としての活動に専念し、アジア大会の縛りも解けた今年、ついに初めて渋谷ブリッジセンターの扉をくぐることができました！

このあたりはデパートとグルメ天国、レストランの数が多すぎて選ぶのも一苦労。それに比べて四ツ谷はまるでグルメ砂漠😝。ボスたちのために快適な屋内移動ルートを設計するには、事前にロケハンが必須でしたね…🥲

2025 Tokyo Invitational

Every May, the Taiwan national tournament often has to yield to both Mother’s Day and the APBF, which means it always clashes with the Tokyo Invitational. In the past, this made joining Tokyo’s event nearly impossible. But now, as a professional player with a new focus, I finally made it — my first time at the Shibuya Bridge Center!

This neighborhood is packed with department stores and great food — so many restaurants it’s hard to choose. Compared to it, Yotsuya felt like a culinary desert 😝. To make sure our bosses had the smoothest indoor walking routes, I really should’ve done a site visit days in advance 🥲.

2025 도쿄 초청 대회

매년 5 월, 대만의 전국 대회는 어머니의 날과 아시아-태평양컵으로 인해 일정이 조정되어 도쿄 초청 대회와 겹치곤 했습니다. 그로 인해 이전에는 선택의 여지 없이 참가를 포기해야 했습니다. 하지만 프로 브리지 선수로 활동하면서 중심이 바뀌었고, 올해 드디어 처음으로 시부야 브리지 센터에 발을 들일 수 있게 되었습니다!

이곳은 백화점과 맛집이 가득하고, 레스토랑이 너무 많아서 선택하기 힘들 정도입니다. 그에 비해 요쓰야는 마치 맛집 사막처럼 느껴집니다😝. 모두에게 완벽한 실내 동선을 짜려면 며칠 일찍 와서 답사했어야 했어요🥲.

2025 東京邀請賽

每年五月，台灣的全國大賽總得為了母親節與亞太盃讓路，總是與東京邀請賽撞期，往年我也無從選擇，只能無奈放棄。成為職業橋手重心轉變，加上卸下亞運重重限制，今年終於得以首度踏進澀谷橋藝中心！

這裡百貨林立、美食滿街，餐廳多到令人選擇困難，對比之下，四谷簡直是美食沙漠😝。但要設計出一條適合老闆們的最佳室內路線，還真得提前幾天來場勘才行🥲

맛있는 음식을 즐기기만 할 수는 없죠, 이번엔 브리지 이야기도 조금 해야겠네요😜 이번 대회에서는 한국 Open 팀과 함께 뛸 기회를 얻게 되어 정말 특별했습니다. Kf Mak님의 소개 덕분에 성사된 일이라 감사드리고, 저를 팀에 받아들여주신 두 여성 플레이어분들께도 깊이 감사드립니다. 함께 뛰었던 남성 파트너분들과도 아주 좋은 분위기에서 즐겁게 플레이할 수 있었어요

職業橋手（一）

 ──或許你聽過職業運動員，
但你知道『職業橋手』也是一份正式的工作嗎？

以橋牌為職業，對多數人而言或許相當陌生。在臺灣，這項運動的參與人口可能不到五千人，極為小眾。由於基礎人口數有限，賽事分級制度尚未健全，企業或個人願意出資支持的案例更是寥寥可數。在這樣的環境下，我選擇踏上職業之路，期望在2022年杭州亞運奪金的鼓舞下，持續深耕這條鮮為人知的領域。本篇文章將結合自身經驗，談談「職業橋手」在國際上的現況。
