🥈 2025 APBF Open Team — First Appearance, Silver Summit 🥈

🧭 A Milestone in My Bridge Journey

After a packed spring with the NABC, China National Open, Hong Kong Yeh Cup, and Tokyo Invitational, I finally reached the biggest stage of the year — the APBF Championships.

This was more than just a tournament. It marked a milestone in my bridge career: 10 consecutive years on the national team, moving from women’s to mixed, and now debuting in the open category. It was also my first time competing alongside my life partner — a journey of growth, challenge, and breakthrough, facing Asia’s best together.

2025 Tokyo Invitational

Every May, the Taiwan national tournament often has to yield to both Mother’s Day and the APBF, which means it always clashes with the Tokyo Invitational. In the past, this made joining Tokyo’s event nearly impossible. But now, as a professional player with a new focus, I finally made it — my first time at the Shibuya Bridge Center!

This neighborhood is packed with department stores and great food — so many restaurants it’s hard to choose. Compared to it, Yotsuya felt like a culinary desert 😝. To make sure our bosses had the smoothest indoor walking routes, I really should’ve done a site visit days in advance 🥲.

2025 Yeh Mixed Cup @HK [English]

Besides food, it’s time to add a bridge post too 😜.
This time, I had the rare opportunity to team up with the Korean Open Team—special thanks to KF Mak for the introduction, huge thanks to the two ladies for giving me this precious opportunity, and big appreciation to all my male partners for the smooth and enjoyable collaboration throughout 🤗

2024 SCBL Miracle! — The Spirit of NEVER Giving Up!

After guiding the Korean team Top to victory last year, this year’s Seoul Cup was a fresh experience with the Purplefog team. I partnered with a client, while Kelvin, my regular partner, joined as a teammate. Together with Hong Kong's Tommy, we formed a trio of Pro-Client pairs.

Boards from Yeh's Cup - Flash Foresight

The 1st board on the second half of the semi-final. NS bid to the grand slam powerfully. What is your lead?

Devil's Coup-like

There is no way for South to show his singleton  in NS's system. Hence, South can only make a mild slam try by cue-biding once and stop in 4. Then, North is glad to accept the partner’s slam try of course with maximum and all useful high cards. Well, he does not know K is far less useful than Q or Q or even J😓

Anyway, NS reached the poor 6 with all AKs but it is likely to be with only about 23%, Q onside & 3-2 & 3-2.

Is there any better line? 🧐
